If you subscribe to this blog, you received notice of a new post, cleverly titled “test post”. Oops. Sorry. We were making sure we could still create content because we’ve moved the blog, wholesale, to an Amazon AWS EC2 instance. This is partially an experiment, but also necessary as the previous hosting setup was getting old and slow.

So accessing this blog going forward should be much faster. The experiment part is that we wanted to play around with EC2 as this may be be a great way give up the responsibility of maintaining physical hardware while retaining full control over the software setup without paying a fortune to cloud hosting providers. We’ll see how it goes.
