Hawk iMedia was formed in 2009 as an independent iOS development shop by Mark Granoff, a software engineer by trade.

Before starting Hawk iMedia, Mark worked mainly on scalable backend systems in the telecom and electronic communications sectors with technologies like C, C++, and Ruby. With Hawk iMedia, Mark shifted his energies entirely to iOS development, and in just a short time transitioned fully to mobile development.

Mark is focused on iOS development, and Hawk iMedia has become somewhat of a hybrid “indie” operation. In addition to our own products (available on the App Store), and products for clients, Mark is a fulltime iOS developer for a North American consultantcy.
